Week beginning 27th April English, Maths and Ancient Greece

This week's Ancient Greece learning is about Theseus and the Minotaur. Follow the link to download the power point and then follow the information on the Ancient Greek challenge page.  There are videos to watch and questions to fill in.
Enjoy the story further by choosing to share the story or information.  For example:
1. You will be able to print masks using the file and you can act out the story with family members.  You could write a script for your own play. You could make a video of your play.
2. You could print the 'picture cut outs' and re-write the story yourself to present as a puppet show.  You could make a video.
3. You could make a cartoon strip of the story.
4. You could write and perform your own news report about Knossos.
Send in your pictures and videos for the website!
Please continue to practise Week 28 spellings as you would have done at home for your test on Friday.  There is a link to week 29 spellings below for this week.
The English booklets on last week's page should last for two weeks so download one if you haven't done so and need more English activities.  Feel free to use your comprehension and SPAG books.
Please follow the links to your daily White Rose maths lesson and your arithmetic and mental arithmetic tests.
Practise at anytime using Sumdog and TT Rockstars.  Many of the children will have a diagnostic test to do on Sumdog to check their progress.
