Science trip to Mount Kelly

12th March 2019
As part of British Science Week, Class 2 visited the science facilities at Mount Kelly School. We spent time in each of the labs- Physics, Chemistry and Biology- and greatly enjoyed the taste of science offered to us. We learnt about static electricity and had great fun with the Van der Graf generator; we created copper plated key rings using the process of electrolysis and in Biology studied the different teeth in omnivore and carnivore skulls, as well as studying some living creatures - a scorpion, a tree frog and a tortoise!
