Gardening Club

9th October 2017
Gardening Club has been a huge success this year, despite the poor weather. From the food planted back in the Spring, we have harvested apples, berries, leeks, onions, corn, carrots and beetroot to name just some. The children have done a good job of keeping the weeds under control and will be muck spreading next week, ready for the Winter (bring old clothes!)
Our final harvest of the season is some fantastic pumpkins. We will be guessing the weight of the largest in school over the next week (whoever guesses the closest wins the pumpkin) as well as selling off our smaller pumpkins. Please bring in money if you are interested - all proceeds will go into seeds and plants for next year's Club.
Thank you to all of our keen young gardeners for making the club such fun.
