Week beginning 13th July

We have made it!  Well done everyone.  It was really tough at times but there were great times too and plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors.  The challenge for the last week is to write a poem or song about home learning.  You can get your parents involved too.  Video yourselves and send it in.  I am hoping some will be funny!
Follow the link to the last week of maths lessons and complete the worksheets.
links at the bottom of the page will take you to some exciting Ancient Greece interactive sites, Scratch and an interactive street art site.
All the Home learning pages will be left on the website over the summer as some people have said they would like to go back to learning they have missed.
Good luck to our leavers...  Jonty, Tegan and Matthew.  I am looking forward to our special leavers' service this week.  I really hope you all have a lovely holiday and I can't wait to see the rest of you in September. :)
Revise your spellings using the worksheets from 29th June.  How are you getting on?
Monday and Tuesday:
Write a song or poem about home learning.  Rope in your family and video yourselves performing it.  You could create several verses and a chorus.  Can you make it funny?
Wednesday - Friday:
Read the paragraphs about Herecles.  Can you work out the correct order?
Read the comic strip about King Midas and create your own.  You could use the comic strip provided below. (There are 28 pages to choose from so only print the pages you would like to use!) Remember to plan it first and add the writing.  Then you will need to illustrate with colourful, bold pictures.
We've made it to the last week!  Well done!
